Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. (AFNA) is seeking a Maintenance Planner to improve productivity by planning and coordinating maintenance work across the facility in Lampasas, TX.

You will partner with Maintenance, Production and other departments to schedule jobs, prepare parts, ensure safety, maintain records in the CMMS (JDE), and drive continuous improvement. The role requires 5 years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, and supervisory experience; JD Edwards

Qualifications

• CMMS experience required; JD Edwards a plus.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Some supervisory experience a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact and liaison between Maintenance, Production, and other supported departments.
• Balance Production’s need for daily output with equipment reliability through productive maintenance.
• Long range planning involving regular analysis of backlog relative to available resources.
• Short term planning to identify scope of work needed and analysis of required level of planning.
• Coordinate with Production to describe, approve, and schedule work to be done.
• Communicate with work requestor to gain complete clarity of work to be performed.
• Communicate with all stakeholders the expectations of work before equipment is taken out of service.
• Gathers necessary engineering or technical documents, specifications, and drawings.
