Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. in Texas seeks a Maintenance Planner to improve productivity by planning and coordinating labor, parts, and equipment access.

The planner crafts detailed maintenance plans to extend asset life and reduce costs while supporting production targets. The role serves as the liaison among Maintenance, Production and other departments, handling long- and short-term planning, PM packages, and safety integration into every plan.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS required; ability to interpret maintenance data.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude for diagnostic work.
• Some supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary liaison between Maintenance, Production, and other departments.
• Balance daily production needs with equipment reliability and preventive maintenance.
• Plan long- and short-term maintenance work with accurate scope and estimates.
• Prepare and manage parts, tools, and documentation for work orders.
• Ensure safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out, are incorporated in plans.
• Compile and communicate backlogs and PM schedules to keep backlog to two weeks.
