• Typical high school diploma or equivalent with a technical certificate and 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and machine/process drawings.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and coordinates corrective, preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance activities with focus on reliability and productivity.
• Obtains and organizes information and parts required for maintenance (diagrams, manuals, manufacturer instructions).
• Locates sources of problems by observing equipment, listening for issues, and using precision tools to diagnose.
• Collaborates with maintenance colleagues to ensure timely completion of work orders and operability of machinery.
• Controls and optimizes spare parts ordering, stocking, issuing, and inventorying.
• Develops or refines preventive maintenance tasks and schedules.
• Gives guidance to junior maintenance staff.
• Adheres to plant safety policies and participates in safety, Lean Manufacturing programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
