Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; progress toward bachelor’s in engineering or operations management.
• Strong knowledge of site operations and equipment performance.
• Proficient in database management for accurate records.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse teams.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance for heavy equipment.
• Commitment to health and safety practices.
• Experience with SAP, CDK, Office tools, and project scheduling (Gantt charts).

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce rigorous workplace safety standards; monitor equipment conditions and compliance.
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, and Field Managers to align workflows with priorities.
• Carry out inspections/audits of service jobs to ensure quality and opportunities for improvement.
• Balance routine maintenance, outages, and repairs to maximize resource efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Oversee all aspects of maintenance planning under supervision with prioritized resources.
• Utilize scheduling/planning software to document workflows and monitor progress.
• Own the planning lifecycle: scoping jobs, coordinating materials, scheduling resources.
• Work with supervisors to procure parts, tools, and materials for tasks.
• Manage logistics for external service support and communicate with vendors.
• Inspect and validate parts upon receipt to ensure inventory readiness.
• Track costs and provide reporting for budget oversight and decisions.
• Prepare preliminary invoices and support billing questions with customers.
• Maintain electronic records via Teams/SharePoint for compliance and access.
• Contribute ideas for special projects to improve maintenance performance.
• Coordinate ERP platforms to integrate shared labor management systems.
