Job summary

CBRE in Chester, VA is seeking a Maintenance Planner to provide building maintenance and office administration support for company-managed properties. This onsite role involves coordinating maintenance tasks, managing work orders, and ensuring safe, reliable operations.

You will work with technicians and subcontractors, analyze maintenance data, generate reports, and help implement preventive and predictive programs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2–3 years of related experience; combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
Experience with creating work orders & CMMS is required.
Ability to lift/carry heavy loads and perform physical tasks as part of the role.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Create and organize work orders and assign them to technicians, vendors, or teams.
Coordinate engagement and direction of appropriate subcontractors.
Collaborate with Technicians to complete maintenance requests and manage materials, permits, and resources.
Develop, maintain, and distribute workflow processes for the account team.
Review predictive maintenance data and provide regular reporting to management and client.
Perform annual reviews of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
