Job summary

KNAPP Inc in Lancaster, TX is seeking a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to manage maintenance activities, plan and track work orders, and maintain CMMS records.

You will generate KPI reports, manage parts inventory, and coordinate plant shutdowns. Candidates should have 1–2 years in industrial maintenance, strong Excel/Access skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years in Industrial Maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner and provide direction to others.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementing them.
  • Strong computer skills, especially advanced Excel and Access; knowledge of CMMS software.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain good customer relations by promptly responding to inquiries and promoting KNAPP products and services.
  • Data entry into Knapp CMMS, KPI reports and Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Maintain and format Excel spreadsheets and generate reports of daily, weekly, and monthly workflow results, parts usage and system performance using CMMS tools.
  • Plan, schedule and track corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level.
  • Review stock of spare parts with demand in the maintenance department.
  • Manage work orders, documentation, and assets within the CMMS.
  • Coordinate and support plant-wide shutdowns as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization,
  • Minimum 1-2 years in Industrial Maintenance
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner and provide direction to others
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementing them
  • Strong Computer skills especially need to have Advanced Proficiency with MS office Excel and Access and knowledge of various CMMS software

Working Conditions and Environment:

  • Overtime as required by work
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Occasional travel maybe required
  • Professional office etiquette is required at all times
  • Physical requirements may include:
  • sitting, squatting, walking, reaching out to arm’s length, reaching over-head, lifting between 50-100 pounds, and reading
