KNAPP in Elwood, IL is seeking a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to optimize preventive and corrective maintenance activities across plant operations. Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Minimum 1-2 years in Industrial Maintenance.
• Ability to work in a self-directed manner and provide direction to others.
• Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementing them.
• Strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Access and knowledge of CMMS software.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good customer relations by promptly responding to external and internal customer inquiries and promoting the Company’s products and services.
• Responsible for data entry into Knapp CMMS, KPI reports and Excel Spreadsheets.
• Maintain and format excel spreadsheets and generate reports of daily, weekly and monthly workflow results, parts usage and system performance; using Kisoft Analytics and SCADA.
• Plan, schedule and track corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level.
• Review stock of spare parts with demand in the maintenance department.
• Manage work orders, documentation, and assets within the CMMS.
• Coordinate and support plant-wide shutdowns as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU HAVE

Working Conditions and Environment:

• Physical requirements may include:
• sitting, squatting, walking, reaching out to arm’s length, reaching over-head, lifting between 50-100 pounds, and reading
