Job summary

Linamar Corporation in Wilson, NC seeks a Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance activities, manage PM scheduling, and maintain CMMS data accuracy. The role collaborates with the Maintenance Manager and shop personnel to ensure smooth, safe operations.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in a technical field, strong computer literacy, and the ability to read blueprints. You will work on rotation shifts and support ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Enter data from completed work orders into the CMMS.
• Generate PM work orders and schedule maintenance tasks for personnel and contractors.
• Keep track of all machines and machine numbers; update machine master file.
• Populate spreadsheets, databases, forms and other necessary documents for the Maintenance Manager.
• Assist in identification and procurement of machine parts.
• Set up spare parts in tool crib and maintenance inventory.
• Enter purchase requisitions.
• Plan and track special maintenance projects.

Maintenance Planner

Responsible for planning of all Maintenance activities, including day-to-day operations and special projects

Powering Vehicles, Motion, Work, and Lives since 1966.

Performance Expectations

• Enter data from completed work orders into the CMMS.
• Generate PM work orders and schedule task for maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Keep track of all machines and machine numbers and up-date machine master file.
• Populate spreadsheets, data bases, forms and other necessary documents for different applications as need by the Maintenance Manager and supervisors.
• Work with Maintenance Manager and supervisors on identification and procurement of machine parts.
• Work with tool and supply to setup spare parts in tool crib and maintenance inventory.
• Enter purchase requisitions
• Work with Maintenance Manager on planning and tracking of special projects

Credentials

• Previous Manufacturing experience is an asset
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be computer literate. Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Minimum of two years of experience in technical field preferred
• Organization skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Ability to work independently but also in a team setting to support maintenance activities
• Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred
• Troubleshooting and process knowledge
• PM experience preferred
• Ability to work all rotating shifts
