Job summary

Techo-Bloc Inc. in Waterloo, IN and Rock Island, IL is seeking a detail-driven Maintenance Planner to keep our facilities running at full speed.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance planning.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to operate a forklift, man lift and other industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, D365 and Microsoft AX (highly preferred).
• Purchasing and vendor management.
• High level knowledge of electrical and mechanical parts.
• Excellent planning and execution skills.
• Be an excellent communicator.
• Ability to work under pressure and with others for a common goal.

Responsibilities

• Build maintenance schedules and generate work orders across all shifts.
• Own the preventive/corrective maintenance program and keep it optimized.
• Track department performance through the ERP system and report on key metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships — sourcing quotes, technical documentation, and pricing.
• Forecast and manage parts inventory (MRP) so the team always has what it needs.
• Estimate labor and parts costs, and adjust plans when equipment breaks down.
• Prepare purchase requisitions/POs and support parts room operations.
• Occasionally assist outside normal hours for urgent needs.

What you'll do:
