Job summary

Red's All Natural, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Analyst for our North Sioux City, SD facility. You will plan and analyze maintenance work for a team of technicians while supporting inventory accuracy for raw and packaging materials in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The role rewards detail orientation, analytical thinking, and strong collaboration with production, maintenance, and leadership to keep equipment reliable and downtime to a minimum.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance planning or a related manufacturing role, preferably food manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/CMMS systems (NetSuite a plus).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Comfortable reading data, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools to support decisions.
• Clear communicator able to work with maintenance technicians, production staff, and leadership.
• Able to work on the plant floor and in an office setting as needed.

Responsibilities

• End to end creation and management of the maintenance workflow process.
• Develop, schedule, and prioritize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work orders.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager to align schedules with production plans and downtime windows.
• Maintain the CMMS with equipment records, work history, PM schedules.
• Forecast parts and materials for upcoming maintenance to avoid shortages.
• Track maintenance KPIs and report trends to plant leadership.
• Support root cause analysis and translate findings into planning adjustments.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
• Support inventory accuracy for spare parts including cycle counts.
• Partner with Production Planning and Purchasing to ensure material availability.

Scope of Role

Red's All Natural is looking for a Maintenance Planner/Analyst to join our team at our North Sioux City, SD facility, a 300-person food manufacturing plant. This role is primarily responsible for planning and analyzing maintenance work for a team of maintenance technicians, with additional responsibility for supporting raw and packaging material inventory accuracy. This is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and energized by keeping equipment reliability and planning tight in a fast-paced food production environment.

Principal Accountabilities

Maintenance Planning & Analysis

• End to end creation and management of the maintenance workflow process.
• Develop, schedule, and prioritize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work orders for the plant's production and facility equipment.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and maintenance team to align work order scheduling with production plans and downtime windows.
• Maintain the CMMS with accurate equipment records, work history, and PM schedules.
• Forecast parts and materials needed for upcoming maintenance work to ensure availability without overstocking.
• Track maintenance KPIs (PM compliance, work order backlog, downtime, MTTR/MTBF) and report trends to plant leadership.
• Support root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures and help translate findings into planning adjustments.
• Assist in coordinating maintenance activities with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
• Support inventory accuracy for spare parts including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution as needed.

Inventory Support

• Support inventory accuracy for raw and packaging materials including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution as needed.
• Partner with Production Planning and Purchasing to help ensure MRO and production materials are available when needed.

Key Functional Skills/Knowledge Required:

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance planning or a related manufacturing role — food manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Experience with ERP/CMMS systems (NetSuite experience a plus).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
