Job summary

MAC Incorporated in Pembroke, NC is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance activities on DAY SHIFT. You will manage CMMS data, ensure safety practices, and drive reliability for bakery equipment and packaging lines.

Responsibilities include planning weekly maintenance, reviewing work orders, and coordinating with the Maintenance Manager on follow-up actions. Overtime and weekend work may be required. English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with Master Data and CMMS systems.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Experience leading RCA processes and systems.
• Knowledge of identifying failure modes and preventive tasks.
• Understanding Total Cost of Ownership and coaching on maintenance standards.
• Record maintenance work within CMMS and follow procedures.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Owns and drives CMMS data integrity and plant standards.
• Reviews incoming work orders ensuring SIMPTWWI elements.
• Maintains all assets in CMMS including BOMs and PMs.
• Drives reliability improvements and reduces downtime in daily meetings.
• Manages spare parts process and safety stock levels.
• Publishs weekly maintenance work plan including stops.
• Collaborates with Maintenance Manager on 30/90 day actions.
• Supports SQF/HACCP/GMP to ensure product safety.
• Documents all maintenance activity in CMMS.
• Supports Preventative Maintenance program to reduce downtime.

Maintenance Planner Pembroke, North Carolina Job Ref: 41456

SALARY RATE: $70K-$80K

SHIFT: DAY SHIFT MON-FRI

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible and accountable for MP&S Competency, which includes ensuring plant standards are aligned toStandards. This includes plant utilizing CMMS system as intended including following master data standardization.
• Reviews all incoming approved work orders and ensures that Safety, Material, People, Tools, When, Where (SIMPTWWI) are included on all job plans.
• Ensures all Asset's within the CMMS are maintained from Cradle to Grave, and include BOMS, PMS and critical spare parts for each asset. This includes accountability for ensuring new equipment brought in follows same standards.
• Drives improvements in equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability by ensuring focusing on plants top losses by being an active participant in Daily Direction setting meetings.
• Accountable for spare parts process and ensure proper safety stock levels and maintenance strategies are aligned.
• Creating and publishing the plant maintenance work plan for the week including any standard plant stops
• Works collaboratively with Maintenance manager to set 30/90 actions to ensure Key standard metrics are met and aligned withStandards
• Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s)
• Will perform other duties as required by supervisor and reporting structure
• Document all Maintenance work activity within CMMS System.
• Effectively support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program with a goal of continually reducing unscheduled downtime.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have experience working with Master Data and CMMS systems
• Must have Mechanical and Electrical experience and understanding.
• Must have experience Leading and owning RCA processes and systems
• Must have knowledge for identification of Component Failure modes and counter measure preventative maintenance tasks to prevent failure modes
• Ability to understand Total Cost of Ownership and ability to coach maintenance team and leaders on changes or creation to maintenance standards.
• Ability to Record all maintenance work within CMMS system and follow all CMMS Process and Procedures
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Must be willing to work overtime including weekends if necessary
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills
• FEMA / RCM development and implementation
• Working Knowledge of Ovens, bakery equipment, and packaging equipment.
• AIB Bakery Equipment training course is helpful.

REQUIRED

• 3+ industrial Mechanical experience or two-year technical degree preferred
• Must be able to read, write and speak English, preferred if can read, write and speak English and Spanish.
• Must be able to successfully complete HACCP Certification
• Must have Forklift License or able to complete required training within 90 days of hire
