This position requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent coordination skills, and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to maintenance efficiency, process improvements, and plant safety.You will collaborate with maintenance leads, production teams, and operations leadership, ensuring that maintenance activities are properly planned, tracked, and optimized using tools like SAP. This is a full-time and will be located in Kansas City, MO.This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about driving continuous improvement through organized systems and technical accuracy.What You’ll DoAnalyzes maintenance methods and implements improvements to the preventive maintenance programTracks and trends KPIs related to equipment reliability, planning efficiency, and department performanceEstablishes and improves planning, scheduling, stores, and data management processes to optimize maintenance resourcesCollaborates with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize backlogs and align schedules with plant prioritiesCreates, formats, and enters job task lists and maintenance plans into SAPMaintains accurate equipment maintenance history and technical documentation for processes and equipmentPrepares daily maintenance schedules and work packets, including tasks, routes, and non-emergency repairsEnsures accurate completion and timely return of all work orders by maintenance staff and contractorsPrepares maintenance outage schedules using project management softwareLeads daily maintenance planning and work review meetingsMonitors all parts sent out for repair and manages return logisticsWho You Are3+ years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience, including SAP usageHigh school diploma or GED requiredProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including functions like pivot tables and conditional formulasWorking knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance processesStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsEffective communication and interpersonal abilitiesDetail-oriented with a dependable and professional work ethicBasic math proficiency and ability to read measuring devices and technical documentationWhat You’ll GetZekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental benefits.
