Job description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Maintenance Planner to contribute to our Manufacturing team in Chambersburg, PA. This person performs a variety of functions within the facility, including planning and coordinating work orders, parts, inventory, bin consolidation, kitting, preventive maintenance (PMs), and managing vendors/contractors. Ensures accuracy in maintenance data through auditing processes, reviews quotes for validity and pricing, and enters them into the work order system. Plans and schedules maintenance activities to ensure equipment, machinery, and assets are maintained to prevent breakdowns and downtime.

At Ingram, the Operations team plays a vital role, ensuring our distribution centers and warehouses operate efficiently. Safety is a core value, emphasized through training and prevention programs. Process improvement is also a focus, utilizing technologies like voice and RF, along with associate feedback for continuous enhancement.

Schedules Available:

  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm; OT may be required

Pay:

  • $29 and up, depending on experience

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience in building and facility maintenance
  • 2 years of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC experience
  • 2 years of experience directing outside contractors

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General understanding of facility equipment
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to sit and stand during shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with maintenance planning and scheduling software
  • Familiarity with procurement processes for maintenance equipment and supplies
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of machines, tools, and their maintenance
  • Proficiency with Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively

Physical Demands:

  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs. as needed
  • Push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Continuous gripping and frequent bending, twisting, reaching, typing
  • Work during designated shifts, including overtime
  • Operate computers and office equipment
