The position emphasizes safety and hands-on tool use in a fast-paced industrial setting. Qualified applicants typically have 3+ years of pipefitter maintenance or a Vo-Tech pipefitter education plus experience, with preferred additional background in related trades and heavy equipment

Qualifikationen

• Minimum three years of recent related Pipefitter industrial/maintenance experience; OR
• Minimum two years industrial pipefitter-related education at a Vo-Tech Program plus a minimum one year of recent related Pipefitter industrial/maintenance experience.
• Related experience in Maintenance Technician, Millwright, Welding, or Carpentry is preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, tractors, overhead cranes, and backhoes is preferred.
• Willingness to go through training programs for other trades such as millwright and welding.
• Position requires climbing ladders, working at heights, and entering confined spaces.
• Flexibility to work other schedules, weekends, and forced overtime.

Aufgaben

• Repair and replace pipes and hydraulic lines, make hydraulic hoses, and install new piping on various equipment.
• Rebuild cylinders and pumps.
• Use a variety of hand tools and powered tools.
• Adhere to all safety requirements including lockout/tagout and wearing required PPE.
