Summary:

• Maintains, fabricates, installs, repairs and/or replaces, cleans and tests the facility piping, valves, heat exchangers, safety relief systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain, fabricate, install, repair, replace, clean, and test facility piping, valves, heat exchangers, and safety relief systems according to applicable procedures and specifications.
• Operate high-pressure water blasting machines.
• Test, repair, and calibrate facility relief valves.
• Utilize electric, air, and hydraulically driven tools and equipment.
• Use cutting equipment.
• Clean up the work area after completing assigned tasks and dispose of waste materials properly. Return tools and equipment to storage.
• Perform other routine or assigned duties as needed to meet the maintenance schedule and minimize equipment downtime.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least four years of industrial pipefitting experience for the primary skill, along with skills in two additional maintenance crafts to assist other craftsmen.
