Job summary

Penn's Peak is seeking a part-time Maintenance Associate to support daily upkeep of the venue. You will inspect areas, perform routine maintenance, assist custodial tasks, and help with building procedures. The role requires safety awareness, basic handyman skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Evening and weekend availability is expected.

Residency in Pennsylvania and a valid PA driver’s license are preferred. Prior maintenance experience is a plus; training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Residency in Pennsylvania is required.
• Valid PA driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to operate a snowplow.
• Ability to operate Genie lifts and forklifts is helpful.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures.
• Interpersonal and written communication skills are important.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.

Essential Functions Typically Include:

• Inspecting assigned areas on a regular basis and performing routine maintenance where necessary to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition
• Assisting with daily custodial duties and assisting with weekly or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and maintenance procedures
• Reporting any major maintenance needs and recommending corrective action as appropriate
• Adhering to Pencor Services safety policies and procedures at all times
• Maintaining work areas, equipment and tools keeping them in a clean and orderly condition
• Performing other duties and cross training as assigned

Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or G.E.D
• Previous maintenance experience preferred
• Established residency in Pennsylvania
• Valid PA driver’s license and good driving record
• Basic knowledge of electricity helpful, but not required
• Basic knowledge of plumbing helpful, but not required
• Ability tooperate a snowplow
• Ability to operate Genie lifts and forklifts helpful, but not required
• Ability tofollow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills - oral and written
• Ability to handlefrequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50lbs
