Job summary

ROI Hospitality Development is seeking a maintenance professional to perform major repairs and preventative maintenance to uphold hotel quality standards. Responsibilities include pool and gym area upkeep, grounds cleaning, stock management, safety checks, and reporting issues affecting guest satisfaction.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and hospitality experience is preferred; an AA in related maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
• An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the pool area and exercise room.
• Keep grounds clear of visible trash and clean parking lot, sidewalks, public areas, stairs, and entrance, including weed removal.
• Report problems that would interfere with guest satisfaction.
• Keep the storage area clean daily and lock all storage areas before clocking out.
• Ensure sufficient housekeeping supplies on each floor and adequate linens & supplies in stock.
• Verify all exterior lights are working properly.
• Report and fix safety hazards throughout the hotel.
• Ensure the stockroom has inventory to last at least two weeks.
• Other duties as assigned.
