Job summary

Regency Hotel Management, based in Perrysville, Ohio, is seeking a maintenance technician to perform major repairs and preventative maintenance to meet hotel quality standards. The shift is 2:30pm to 11pm with compensation at $14 per hour.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED, plus a craft apprenticeship or equivalent maintenance experience. Hospitality experience is preferred and the candidate should be highly motivated to work independently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent in maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the pool area and exercise room
• Keep grounds clear of visible trash and cleans the parking lot, sidewalks, breezeways, stairs, and entrance thoroughly, including weed removal
• Report any problems that would interfere with guest satisfaction
• Keep the storage area clean every day and lock all storage areas before clocking out
• Ensure that there are enough housekeeping supplies on each floor and there are enough linens & supplies in stock
• Verify that all exterior lights are working properly
• Report and fix any safety hazards throughout the hotel
• Ensure that the stockroom has sufficient inventory to last at least two weeks
• Other duties as assigned
