Tate Branch Artesia is seeking a Maintenance Person to ensure that the building premises remain in good, safe operational order. You will inspect interiors and exteriors, perform minor repairs, and coordinate outside services for major or specialized repairs.
The position requires a one-year certificate or equivalent, a current driver\'s license, and the ability to follow safety rules, read maintenance instructions, and communicate effectively.

The Maintenance Person ensures that the overall functions of the building premises are in good, safe operational order; is responsible for minor repairs and coordinating outside services for major or specialized repairs.

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Current driver's license.
