Job summary

Canfor’s Fulton, Alabama facility is hiring a Warehouse Attendant to keep maintenance stocked with tools, parts, and equipment. You’ll support inventory, coordinate purchases, and assist during major repairs in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role is full-time with rotating shifts and weekends. We value organization, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities to apply mechanical skills in daily maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial or maintenance setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of initiative and motivation.
• Experience as a parts person or buyer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance operations by organizing tools, parts, and equipment.
• Manage inventory levels, purchase orders, and vendor communications using the Hexagon system.
• Coordinate with plant teams to plan maintenance schedules and major projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized parts room.
• Assist with documentation, work orders, and administrative tasks.
• Provide hands-on support during plant operations, breakdowns, and shutdowns.
