Job summary

Perdue Foods, part of Perdue Farms, seeks a Maintenance Inventory Clerk for 1st shift in Mount Vernon, WA. You will ensure availability of parts, tools, lubricants, and supplies, support maintenance teams, and maintain inventory accuracy to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include updating Maximo, coordinating with vendors, and generating reports. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems, including Maximo.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Verify packing slips against received materials and update the Maximo system.
• Monitor stock levels and generate purchase requests to maintain inventory.
• Document all issues in the inventory control system.
• Generate usage reports for management as required.
• Contact suppliers to expedite or order parts as needed.
• Maintain files of purchase orders and packing slips.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory system via cycle counts.
• Assist other departments by holding stock for work orders or projects.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Maintenance to evaluate materials and ensure quality.
• Identify opportunities to reduce inventory levels.
• Pick up materials from local vendors as needed.
• Inspect equipment as required.
