Job summary

Jimmy Jazz is seeking an Inventory & Parts Specialist to manage the maintenance parts room in a USDA/FDA regulated environment. You will ensure accurate inventory, timely availability of spare parts, and proper CMMS usage to support preventive and predictive maintenance.

You will maintain records for audits, train maintenance personnel, and contribute to continuous improvement in reliability, safety, and cost control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and inventory processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of maintenance parts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized, audit-ready parts room compliant with USDA/FDA, GMP requirements.
• Identify, stock, and manage critical spare parts based on reliability data.
• Process parts with CMMS against work orders and track costs.
• Support audits with accurate records and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for lead times and food-grade compliance.
