Job summary

JBS Foods in Olympia, WA is hiring an hourly Maintenance Part Inventory Clerk for 1st shift. The role includes receiving and stocking machine parts, tracking PM-based plans, and supporting plant reliability and mechanical integrity programs.

You will work with the Maintenance team to monitor metrics, perform cycle counts, and learn computerized inventory systems. The position requires a High School Diploma, English proficiency, and willingness to work weekends if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• 1 Year Maintenance background preferred.
• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock machine parts for production in correct locations.
• Track PM-based job plans and manage PM backlog.
• Document PMs and monitor through completion.
• Ensure parts, materials, and tools are requisitioned and available to complete planned jobs.
• Support plant reliability and mechanical integrity programs with the maintenance team.
• Track and report metrics to monitor maintenance performance and plant reliability.
• Assist with planning/scheduling for major plant turnarounds and equipment overhauls.
• Work additional hours to support annual turnarounds.

Essential Job Duties

• Responsible for receiving and stocking machine parts for production in correct locations
• Tracks all PM-based job plans and manage PM backlog
• Document all PM’s and monitor through completion
• Ensures parts, materials, and tools are appropriately requisitioned and available to complete planned jobs
• Works with Manager of Maintenance, Maintenance Supervisor, and Maintenance team to support plant reliability and mechanical integrity programs
• Tracks and reports on appropriate metrics to monitor and improve maintenance performance and plant reliability
• Assists with planning/scheduling effort for major plant turn‑around and equipment overhauls.
• Works additional hours to support annual turn‑around
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to type 35wpm and data entry
• Ability to learn computerized inventory systems
• Ability to understand facility terminology when needed to issue or order parts
• Perform accurate cycle counts to maintain correct inventory levels
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma

Physical Requirements:

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
