Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Maintenance - Parts Coordinator at our East Boulder Mine location in McLeod, MT. The role supports maintenance goals by expediting parts, coordinating resources, and aligning with planning, reliability, and warehouse teams.

The position requires strong planning, communication, and organizational skills, with knowledge of JD Edwards and ERP systems. You will help manage inventories, backlogs, and fleet-related tasks in a fast-paced mining environment.

Qualificações

• Engineering degree, trade school, or equivalent field education.
• Experience as a mechanic or supervisor preferably with diesel equipment.
• Planning software and JD Edwards experience preferred.
• Any combination of the above will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate distribution of resources between the Maintenance Reliability/Planning group and the Warehouse/Purchasing group.
• Communicate and support area goals and initiatives to the Maintenance teams.
• Foster positive, cooperative relationships with other groups in the company.
• Collect and communicate accurate information in a timely manner.
• Participate in cross-training and training of new planners, schedulers, and parts coordinators.
• Understand costs and ensure decisions align with business needs.
• Directly influence maintenance costs and reduce downtime.
• Identify and coordinate with other groups to coordinate resource requirements for scheduled work and maintain inventory control for preventive and planned maintenance.
• Monitor, track and execute offsite work in coordination with the parts coordinator group.
• Review backlog requests to support planning and reliability team; manage WO cleanliness in the system.
• Determine resources needed from backlog and work requests in coordination with the parts coordinator group.
• Review scheduled work and ensure resources are available for successful execution.
• Enter pre-operation inspection WOs to fleets and report to planner groups on creation of these WOs.
• Plan for Light Duty Vehicle and Transportation fleets with coordination with the Parts Coordinator group.
• Work with Asset Management on initiatives affecting the administrative role and test new systems with JDE and other ERP systems.
• Manage equipment additions, transfers, decommissions.
• Plan equipment labeling and ensure execution can be implemented.
• Assist in planning and execution of new parts stock requests and assess current stock levels.
• Manage transportation for all equipment on and off site as well as equipment to and from storage.
• Other duties as assigned.

Maintenance - Parts Coordinator

5x2, 4x3 9hr Shifts

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

At Sibanye-Stillwater, the Maintenance Parts Coordinator makes a direct contribution to important mobile maintenance goals of increasing labor productivity, reducing maintenance costs and improving equipment reliability. This is accomplished by researching, expediting and coordinating distribution of resources between the Maintenance Reliability/Planning group and the Warehouse/Purchasing group.

• Communicate and support area goals and initiatives to work group in cooperation with Maintenance teams.
• Foster positive, cooperative relationships with other groups in the Company

• Collecting and communicating accurate information in a timely manner.
• May be asked to participate in cross training and training of new planners, schedulers, and parts coordinators.
• Understand costs associated with scope of work and ensure decisions align with business needs.
• Directly influence maintenance cost and lower time critical equipment is down.
• Identifies and coordinates with other groups in the Company to coordinate resource requirements for scheduled work and maintain inventory control and stocking levels for preventative and planned maintenance programs.
• Monitors, tracks and executes of offsite work in coordination with the parts coordinator group.
• Review accuracy of backlog requests to support planning and reliability team. Understand existing backlog and manage WO cleanliness within the system.
• Determine necessary resources needed to complete tasks identified from backlog and work requests in coordination with the parts coordinator group.
• Review scheduled work and ensure resources are available for successful execution of work.
• Enter pre operation inspection WOs to fleets and report to planner groups on creation of these WOs.

• Proven ability to work autonomously, as well as a member of a team.
• Exceptional planning, organizing and analytical skills, detail oriented.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Established planning and organizational skills, versatility.

Education & Experience

• Engineering Degree, Trade School, or combination of equivalent related field education.
