Job summary

Responsibilities include negotiating pricing, tracking orders in CMMS/ERP, maintaining purchasing records, and developing preferred supplier lists to improve reliability and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience with CMMS/purchasing software systems.
• Computer skills: CMMS systems and purchasing software.
• Spreadsheet and word processing (Microsoft).
• Minimum 2 years in buying/procurement, or 5 years in mechanical sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase MRO supplies, spare parts, tools, and services per procedures.
• Prepare purchase orders and communicate with suppliers and departments.
• Work with maintenance staff to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels; manage price lists.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality/delivery issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and procurement regulations.
• Use CMMS/ERP systems to track orders and update work orders with delivery timelines.
