Comstock Park Public Schools is seeking a maintenance worker to keep district properties safe, efficient, and well maintained year-round. This is a part-time, year-round position serving the school community.
Responsibilities include carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electrical work, equipment testing, blueprint reading, and on-call support as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift 20-100 pounds, and reliable attendance.
Comstock Park is seeking candidates who display a strong desire and ability to make an impact on students and the greater community both within and outside of the classroom.
Maintenance of all properties owned by the Comstock Park Public Schools in a safe, efficient and economical manner. This is a year round part time position.
High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Physically able to lift 20-100 pounds; strenuous walking, standing, and/or climbing; lifting and carrying; stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching; work outside and inside; work around moving objects; work on ladders and scaffolding; ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Compensation and benefits in accordance with the Comstock Park Educational Employees Association Educational Support Personnel Contract.
The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate. Duties are performed both indoors and outdoors.
