Job summary

StarCare Specialty Health System is seeking a full-time Maintenance Specialist/Painter to join its Plant Operations team that supports StarCare's facilities. Responsibilities include painting surfaces, preparing materials, completing documentation, assisting with special projects, and traveling to all center locations.

On-call duties are shared on a rotating basis, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience in designated trade (painting/ finishing).
• Experience using power and hand tools common to painting field; basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting tasks including preparation, mixing, and applying paints, varnishes, and finishes.
• Communicate information to supervisor and other employees.
• Complete required documentation.
• Assist supervisor or Center Staff with special projects.
• Travel to all center locations; participate in rotating on-call duties.
