Job summary

Noble House Hotels & Resorts’ San Diego Mission Bay Resort is seeking a Maintenance I / Painter to maintain guest rooms, public spaces and back‑of‑house areas to the highest appearance and working condition. The role requires 3+ years painting and wallpaper background plus drywall/plaster knowledge, with duties spanning work orders, prioritization and guest requests.

• Knowledge and experience in installing and preparing drywall and plaster surfaces.

• Complete daily job assignments and work orders in a professional and timely manner.
• Have the ability to maintain fast-paced position that will involve prioritization and moving from assignment to assignment as the need presents itself.
• Reply to all Guest maintenance requests in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
• Keep maintenance supplies cataloged, stocked, and orderly.
• Assist other maintenance Team Members with special projects as needed and assigned.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, guest rooms, public areas or equipment as assigned.

The JOB: As a Maintenance 1/ Painter you will help ensure that all areas of the resort are maintained to the highest appearance and working condition. Maintain the Guest rooms, public space, and back of the house areas to ensure they are presentable and in good working order.

To be successful in the Maintenance position in our Engineering department, you:

Requirements A qualified candidate will have previous professional painting & maintenance experience with knowledge of multiple different maintenance specialties including:

• Minimum of 3 years painting and wallpaper background, including Tile and Drywall knowledge.
• Knowledge and experience in installing and preparing drywall and plaster surfaces.

This position requires full availability for any morning, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts.
