Hilco Vision is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operator for our Fairfield, OH facility. This full-time, on-site role on the second shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) involves monitoring equipment, performing quality checks, making routine machine adjustments, and assisting with troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

We value safety-conscious, mechanically inclined candidates who can work independently and as part of a team.

Qualificações

  • Mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail in monitoring machine performance.
  • Experience in manufacturing or machining environments.
  • Good English literacy for safety and SOPs.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate with staff.

Responsabilidades

  • Safely operate manufacturing equipment according to SOPs.
  • Set up and monitor machines to ensure proper operation and consistent production.
  • Load materials into equipment as required.
  • Respond proactively to changes in machine performance.
  • Make routine machine adjustments within SOPs.
  • Identify and clear minor jams and operating issues.
  • Communicate equipment problems to maintenance teams.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow production schedules and customer specifications.
  • Inspect products for defects and perform quality checks.

Hilco Vision is seekingan experienced Maintenance Operator. Thesuccessful candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment. This positionmonitorsequipment performance, performs quality checks, makes routine machine adjustments, clears minor jams, andassistswith troubleshooting to minimize downtime andmaintainproduction efficiency.

This role is a full-time on-site role on the second shift, 2:30pm-11:00pm at our Fairfield, OH location, occasional Saturday as needed. We pay weekly.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Mechanical or technical aptitude.
  • Previousexperience oftroubleshooting or making basic machine adjustments.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and procedures.
  • Manufacturing or machine operation experience.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to the success of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Safelyoperatemanufacturing equipment according toestablishedstandard operating procedures.
  • Set up andmonitormachines to ensure proper operation and consistent production.
  • Load materials and components into equipment asrequired.
  • Respondproactively andappropriately tochanges in machine performance.
  • Make routine machine adjustments within established operating procedures.
  • Identifyand clear minor machine jams and operating issues.
  • Communicatewith theappropriate personnelaboutequipment problems or conditions requiring maintenance.

  • Follow production schedules, work orders, and customer specifications.
  • Meet established production and efficiency expectations.
  • Inspect products for leaks, alignment, artwork, and other defects.
  • Perform required quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Make safety the highest priority and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Properly wear required PPE in designated areas.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Report unsafe conditions, equipment problems, or potential hazardsimmediately.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling equipment, materials, and products.
  • Work effectively with other Operators, Packers, Maintenance,Leads,Supervisors, and other departments.
  • Remain flexible and willing toassistin other areas when business needsrequire.
  • Participate in cross-training and learnadditionalequipment and processes.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes and materials weighing up to 40–50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to safely use a ladder and work at heights whenrequiredfor assigned duties.
