Job summary

Hilco Vision is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operator for our Fairfield, OH facility. This full-time, on-site role on the second shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) involves monitoring equipment, performing quality checks, making routine machine adjustments, and assisting with troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

We value safety-conscious, mechanically inclined candidates who can work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail in monitoring machine performance.
Experience in manufacturing or machining environments.
Good English literacy for safety and SOPs.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate with staff.

Responsibilities

Safely operate manufacturing equipment according to SOPs.
Set up and monitor machines to ensure proper operation and consistent production.
Load materials into equipment as required.
Respond proactively to changes in machine performance.
Make routine machine adjustments within SOPs.
Identify and clear minor jams and operating issues.
Communicate equipment problems to maintenance teams.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow production schedules and customer specifications.
Inspect products for defects and perform quality checks.
