Bupa UK is seeking a Maintenance Operative to ensure our facilities remain fully functional at Hutton Village in Brentwood. The role involves carrying out routine and reactive maintenance, safeguarding compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting refurbishment work as needed.
You will work 37.5 hours per week with on-call responsibilities, receiving a competitive hourly rate (£13.90–£17.05) depending on experience.

Originally the village school, the home is decorated to a high standard and is homely and comfortable. There is a lovely garden with lots of sunny and shady places to sit and enjoy, including a pond and a sensory garden. There is a number of choices of bedrooms, all are ensuite, and many enjoy views of the garden and surrounding countryside. The rooms are fully equipped, however, residents are encouraged to bring their own personal possessions if they choose, to ensure they feel at home.
The in-house chef provides nutritionally balanced meals for residents and always offers both a cold and hot option at each mealtime. Residents can enjoy a variety of snacks and cakes throughout their day. The team are happy to discuss individual dietary requirements and preferences.
They have a well-developed programme of activities led by activities coordinators, and there are regular entertainers such as musicians, visits from Pet Therapy dogs, a monthly church service, quizzes, games, films and individually tailored sessions.
