Advocate Health in Oak Brook, IL, is seeking a Facilities Operational Manager to lead 24/7 operations for AAO Oak Brook and non-acute AMG clinics. This Full Time, first-shift role requires staffing leadership, asset and maintenance oversight, and budget/CMMS expertise.

You will collaborate across administration, clinicians, and facilities teams to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Trades Certificate or CHFM with progressive leadership experience preferred.
• 5+ years leadership in healthcare facilities or 7+ years in facilities/maintenance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and facility management software.

Responsibilities

• Establish staffing for 24/7/365 facility operations.
• Lead maintenance and asset programs aligned with goals.
• Utilize budget reports, CMMS dashboards, energy reporting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance; schedule inspections and drills.
• Identify root causes of failures and implement preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Admin and staff; maintain communications with patients/families.
• Support large facility projects and standardized record keeping.

Major Responsibilities

• Establish staffing complementandstaff readinessappropriate tosupport a facility 24/7/365.
• Recommend, improve, evaluate,maintain, and administer maintenanceand assetprograms in support of the departmental and organizational mission and goals.
• Understand andutilizeall management tools including budget reports, CMMS dashboards, and energy usage and efficiency reporting.
• Adhere to all regulatory compliance codes.Schedule andmaintainrecords of all required inspection,testing,maintenance,and drills.
• Evaluate and analyzerootcauseof building system failures. Develop recommendations and implement solutions to avoid future failures anddisruptions.
• Assistin the development of business unit and enterprise goals, staffing, incidentpreventionand productivity standards and develop departmental goals andobjectives.
• Coordinate interdepartmental and intradepartmental services. Maintain excellent communications with Administration, Director, staff,patientsand families.
• Support coordination and implementation of larger scale projects throughout the facility(ies) assigned.
• Coordinate the implementation of standardized record keeping and reporting for assigned department as specified by FMG policies and procedures. Manage an effective audit program to ensuretimelycompliance.
• Conduct routine team/staff meetings for teammate training andtimelydistribution of information related to the department and organization.
• Interface with site administration on monthly budget performance,productivity,and labor expenses.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma orGED.

Certification / Registration / License

• Valid Driver’s License.

Experience

• Trades Certificate with 3 years of progressive leadership experience or 5 years progressive leadership experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Leadership in afacilityoperations/maintenance environment.
• Competency in the use of computers andtechnology,including Microsoft Office 365.
