Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance personnel in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities in Houston.

The role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, manages resources and budgets, and drives employee development and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a technical diploma, 5+ years in industrial maintenance, and proficiency in Excel/Word/Outlook, SAP knowledge, and experience with

Qualifications

• Two to three year technical diploma/vocational certificate with additional certification/license.
• Minimum 5 years related experience in maintenance within an industrial manufacturing facility.
• Technical certification, journeyman license, or equivalent maintenance experience in electrical/mechanical/instrumentation/welding/plumbing or related trades preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in leading others within a group or individual tasks.
• Must have strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Knowledge of SAP desired.
• Must be able to utilize Order Processing Systems, Payroll Time Reporting & Payroll Systems.
• Able to interact with all levels of employees and management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost-effective maintenance practices and vendor relationships to achieve departmental objectives.
• Maximize equipment reliability and uptime through planning and execution of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with department supervisors and team leads to build strong working relationships.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and maintain documentation for spare parts.
• Ensure a well-trained and motivated workforce through team building and education.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and safety regulations and stay updated on changes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through leadership and development of maintenance personnel.
• Manage and control the preventative maintenance program on facility and manufacturing equipment.
• Contribute to budgetary equipment rehabilitation programs aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure safety, efficiency and quality in maintenance activities.
