Job summary

Worthington Steel in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Intern for the TWB Internship Program to develop professional skills through on-the-job experience. Interns will spend time on various Maintenance Support functions and receive additional training.

Interns will help implement the tool crib, enter and quote parts in the inventory system, organize incoming parts, perform clerical duties for the Maintenance Planner, and assist with records and inquiries for managerial use.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to manage electronic records and juggle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage our Tool Crib Implementation.
• Enter and quote parts into our inventory management system.
• Store and organize incoming parts.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties to assist the Maintenance Planner in the performance of their work and the efficient operation of the Maintenance Department.
• Promote Our Philosophy.
• Maintain various records and compile pertinent information for Managerial use.
• Respond to inquiries for information and/or direction.
