Job summary

PQ is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure the reliable operation of equipment, buildings and facilities at our multi-plant site in Indiana. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs, install machinery and fabricate structures as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, with a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. You will follow health, safety and environmental rules and contribute to PQ's Responsible

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical and electrical repair of all equipment associated with operations.
• Installs machinery, pipes, structural steel, etc. at a multi-plant operation.
• Fabricates stairways, catwalks, structures, etc. at a multi-plant site.
• Helps maintain correct stockroom inventory by utilizing storeroom withdraw slips.
• Maintains positive attitude toward maximizing plant’s success.
• Receives and carries out directions accurately and efficiently.
• Operates in compliance with all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.
• Complies with all corporate/plant policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates commitment to Responsible Care® in everyday activities.
