Job summary

Greif is seeking a qualified Maintenance Millwright to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. You will diagnose faults, install and commission machinery, and support continuous reliability improvements.

Qualifications

Red Seal Millwright certification required.
1–5 years’ post-trade experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
Matric
NQF Level 5 with focus on Electrical.
Minimum 2 years’ experience diagnosing hydraulic/pneumatic faults.
Minimum 3 years’ experience mechanical and electrical fault finding.

Responsibilities

Perform planned, preventive, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
Diagnose faults and repair mechanical and basic electrical systems to engineering standards.
Install, align, and commission machinery and equipment.
Perform vibration checks, alignment, and condition monitoring as required.
Maintain tools and ensure equipment is in good working order.
Collaborate with production and engineering to minimize downtime.
