Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing, dismantling, repairing, reassembling, and relocating machinery across facilities.
• Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, trucks and other handling tools.
• Assemble, install and repair machinery components such as shafting and conveyors using hand and power tools.
• Construct and maintain machine foundations using wood, cement or steel materials.
• Align machines using hoists, jacks and measurement tools to ensure proper operation.
• Secure machinery to foundations or supports with bolts, welds or rivets for safe installation.

MPS Group, Inc. is seeking aMaintenance Millwright to join our team at the Cleveland‑Cliff's facility located inMiddletown, OH. This individual will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and dismantling of machinery and equipment in an industrial environment. The Maintenance Millwright ensures all duties are performed in compliance with applicable safety, environmental, company, and customer regulations.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Assist skilled workers and maintenance personnel with installing, dismantling, repairing, reassembling, and relocating machinery across various facilities.
• Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, trucks, and other material‑handling equipment.
• Assemble, install, and repair machinery components such as shafting, conveyors, and related equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Construct, install, and maintain machine foundations using hand tools and building materials (e.g., wood, cement, steel).
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, micrometers, squares, and plumb bobs to ensure proper operation.
• Bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise secure machinery to foundations or supporting structures to ensure safe and stable installation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a maintenance millwright or in a related field.
• OSHA 10 certification required prior to hire (may be obtained through a company‑sponsored program).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of equipment operation and safe work practices, demonstrated through written or verbal instruction.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test and physical.
