Job summary

Sea Ray Boats in Vonore, TN, seeks a Building Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine maintenance across a large manufacturing facility, with tasks in welding, machinery troubleshooting, electrical work and HVAC.

Responsibilities include supporting welding shop scheduling, learning various equipment, troubleshooting and repairing production machinery, and maintaining safety and quality. Work four 10-hour days, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

• Welding experience is required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical background.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Comfort with machinery repair and electrical troubleshooting.
• Certified forklift and high lift operations are required.

Responsibilities

• Support the welding shop schedule and repairs.
• Learn and be trained on various equipment and maintenance techniques.
• Troubleshoot, rebuild and repair production-related equipment.
• Maintain safety, quality and timely completion of tasks.
• Follow daily schedules and communicate progress to supervision.
• Work four 10-hour days (6:00 AM–4:30 PM) with schedule adjustments as needed.
