Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. The role requires diagnostic work and routine services.

Duties include inspections, troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems, oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, and clear communication of repair needs to service advisors. Valid license and tools required.

Qualifications

• Must have your own basic tools; company will provide any specialty tools.
• Valid driver’s license required and must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, background check, D.O.T. physical and license verification for past 36 months without suspensions or major traffic violations.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Conduct routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment and service manuals to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate findings and repair needs clearly to service advisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Stay current on new technology and repair techniques through training.
• Other duties as assigned.
