What does a Production Maintenance Mechanic do at Swire Coca-Cola?

The Maintenance Mechanic performs general facility maintenance in a 24/7 production environment, maintaining, repairing, disassembling, and troubleshooting complex automated equipment used in production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Support production lines by troubleshooting failures and making repairs to maximize efficiency
• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks via SAP
• Participate in rebuilds and overhauls on production and support equipment
• Manage parts inventory and communicate deficiencies
• Maintain communication through shift reports
• Participate in continuous improvement routines
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental policies
• Operate SAP CMMS effectively
• Clean tools and equipment after repairs
• Install new equipment and support lean initiatives
• Operate and monitor equipment, replenish materials
• Conduct quality reviews to ensure safety and performance standards

Requirements:

• Trade School certification preferred
• 2+ years maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read schematics
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems
• Quick learner of new software/interfaces
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Skills in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, fabrication, security systems
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
