Job summary

Rita Staffing seeks a Maintenance Mechanic in Mulberry, FL to repair and troubleshoot industrial equipment, follow job plans, and perform preventative maintenance. The role requires hands-on experience with heavy machinery, ability to read basic English, and readiness to operate cranes and mobile equipment.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED (an Associate degree in a related trade is preferred) and about 4 years of related experience or an accredited apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related Associate degree preferred
• 4 years of industrial mechanical experience or completion of an Apprenticeship
• Phosphate industry experience preferred
• Ability to train and operate mobile equipment including boom truck, aerial man lift and forklift

Responsibilities

• Repair machinery and equipment per established job plans
• Troubleshoot and diagnose machinery and equipment
• Repair on emergency/break-in basis
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Operate overhead cranes and coordinate lifts with rigging
