Job description

Job DescriptionSerioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic Technician for our plants in St. Louis, Missouri.

What will you do?

1. Ensure production continuity by maintaining machines, equipment, and facilities in compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
2. Carry out mechanical installation and setup of machines and equipment (compressors, air conditioning, dryers, leak tests, cameras, palletizers, etc.).
3. Perform regular inspections, detect and replace worn parts, and coordinate with the Technical Manager for spare parts or technical support.
4. Set up and regulate molds.
5. Perform preventive maintenance according to the plan.
6. Conduct emergency repairs to restore machine and equipment functionality.
7. Support external suppliers during inspections, servicing, and maintenance.
8. Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts lifespan.
9. Organize and manage workshop repairs, fabricating parts using tools and equipment.
10. Assist the Technical Manager with improvement projects related to machines, molds, and processes.

What are we looking for?

• Strong knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Understanding of plastic molding technologies (EBM, SBM, IM).
• Familiarity with WCM standards.
• Basic knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
