Job summary

Randstad USA seeks an experienced Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor to lead our shift maintenance team on high-speed food processing equipment. You will direct electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs, drive PM compliance, and enforce GMP standards across two shifts (Morning and Afternoon).

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor shift maintenance mechanics in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated high-speed food manufacturing machinery.
• Partner with the Maintenance Planner to schedule and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs, minimizing unplanned downtime.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between line supervisors, production leads, and maintenance management to coordinate urgent floor repairs and line changeovers.
• Enforce company LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), OSHA regulations, SQF, FDA, and GMP food safety protocols across all maintenance activities.
• Monitor spare parts usage, track work order completion via CMMS, and reorder critical components as needed.
• Identify recurring mechanical/electrical failure trends and implement corrective measures to optimize machine efficiency and output.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor to lead our shift maintenance team and keep our high-speed food processing equipment running at peak efficiency. In this role you will direct daily electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs while driving preventive maintenance (PM) compliance and enforcing strict food safety/GMP standards. We are currently hiring for two shifts : Morning and Afternoon Full time $ 85,000-$95,000 a year

salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 2:30 PM - 11 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor shift maintenance mechanics in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated high-speed food manufacturing machinery (conveyors, depositors, packaging lines, freezers, and industrial ovens).
• Partner with the Maintenance Planner to schedule and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs, minimizing unplanned downtime.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between line supervisors, production leads, and maintenance management to coordinate urgent floor repairs and line changeovers.
• Enforce company LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), OSHA regulations, SQF, FDA, and GMP food safety protocols across all maintenance activities.
