Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a Fortune 500 metals manufacturer in the United States. You will help maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime to support production goals.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. CMP/CMMS experience and safety leadership are a plus in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience in manufacturing/production environments and safety-focused.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and production equipment.
Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission issues.
Conduct equipment inspections and identify opportunities to improve reliability.
Respond to unplanned equipment breakdowns and execute repairs efficiently.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
Support shutdowns, equipment rebuilds, installations, and capital projects.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with operations, electricians, and maintenance leadership to improve production performance.
Follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and safe work practices.
