Job summary

Commercial Metals Company seeks a Maintenance Technician to monitor, inspect, and repair heavy industrial equipment across our facilities. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, use hand and power tools, and collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot issues.

Required are a strong work ethic, ability to read technical manuals, and experience in mechanical/electrical systems within a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Must read technical documents and service manuals.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical repair of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect equipment for defects.
• Participate in safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Perform repairs using hand/power tools and precision tools at various heights.
• Maintain shop machinery and equipment including cranes and machinery.
• Perform predictive/preventive/corrective maintenance and document activities.
• Work with other Technicians on job orders and troubleshooting.
