Greif in Reno, Nevada is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our operations. This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in industrial settings.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and routine repairs on complex equipment. You will follow diagrams and P&IDs, document work, stock parts, and support installation or relocation projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 2-4 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools to assess performance and functionality.
• Ability to troubleshoot to find root causes and perform moderate repairs.
• Knowledge of technical documents, schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs.
• Accurate documentation of repairs and maintenance activities.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections per procedures.
• Diagnostic testing to assess condition and performance of machinery.
• Troubleshoot issues; determine parts and tools needed for repairs.
• Document maintenance activities and recommend future repairs.
• Maintain tools and equipment; inventory stock and reorder supplies.
• Assist with installation, modification, relocation of machinery.
• Follow diagrams, manuals, P&IDs.
• Provide feedback on ongoing issues.
• Maintain safety procedures and cleanliness.
• Complete paperwork such as work orders and RCA reports.
