Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods seeks a Maintenance Technician at our Distribution Center in the United States. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, and PLC-controlled systems to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree or technical certificate and 3-5 years of electrical/mechanical experience. Strong safety awareness and ability to lift up to 75 lbs. are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2-year technical certificate in mechanical or electrical applications.
• 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Welding, cutting, and safety qualifications.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software and electrical/mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety standards (LOTO) and maintain asset records.
• Repair and troubleshoot facility conveyance systems; follow PM standards.
• Report spare parts usage and inventory to Maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to improve performance and troubleshoot assets.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
• Take on additional duties to support DC operations.
