Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our distribution center in Georgia. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems while following PM schedules and documenting work in our asset management system.

The role requires welding skills, ability to read drawings, and 3–5 years of related experience. Competitive hourly rate with a shift premium and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in a mechanical or electrical field.
• 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Welding, cutting and related fabrication skills.
• Familiar with maintenance software and asset records systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair DC equipment and conveyance systems.
• Follow PM standards and document work in the asset system.
• Report spare parts usage and inventory levels to maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians and support vendor projects safely.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to complete DC projects on time.
• Perform other duties to support DC operations.
