Job summary

Dick’s Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our distribution center. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing conveyance systems and related equipment, following preventive maintenance standards and documenting work.

A strong PLC, hydraulics, and pneumatics background is required. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of maintenance experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, and PLC controls.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA and safety requirements including LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment; follow PM standards and document work performed.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to leadership.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians.
• Work with outside vendors to complete projects in the DC safely and on time.
• Take on other duties to support DC operations.
