Job summary

Smith- is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform general upkeep of machines and facilities. You will wire/repair electrical equipment, handle plumbing tasks, repair air systems, and maintain a range of machinery including CNC lathes and mills.

The role involves fabrication, preventive maintenance, and safety leadership. Candidates should have a high school degree with electrical/plumbing/mechanical knowledge and 5–10 years of maintenance experience, plus certifications to perform electrical

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with electrical/plumbing/mechanical knowledge.
Certifications and education to perform electrical work are required.
5–10 years' experience in general maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

Wire/repair electrical equipment including PLCs.
Execute plumbing tasks as needed.
Repair air compressors/pneumatic equipment.
Perform carpentry.
Maintain building equipment (e.g., air conditioner, boilers, ventilating fan, forklift).
Maintain machinery (CNC Swiss & Mill-Turn Lathes, Manual Mills/Lathes, CNC Mill, stamping, wire forming, slide and press equipment).
Fabricate parts for new or existing machinery.
Perform and record preventive maintenance as scheduled.
Lead Safety Committee and oversee compliance with OSHA standards.
Train Maintenance Apprentice.
